I am a licensed professional counselor associate license number 92573 supervised by Fran Simpson, LPCS 72428. As someone who experienced childhood trauma, I learned for many years throughout my healing journey how to have proper self-care and healing. As a Christian, I believe God is the ultimate healer and simply works through me to help others find peace and joy in their lives. Just like he did for me. I enjoy working with adolescents in group counseling on my ranch. I also enjoy helping people over 10 learn how to heal from trauma. Trauma is why I became a counselor, and trauma is my specialty. Counseling others is something that God put on my heart many years ago. I look at my counseling practice in Springtown as a way to reach many hurting people and help them see the joy and peace God provides us as we heal from the past.
I believe that everyone has the potential to live a fulfilling and meaningful life. By identifying and working towards their goals, clients can unlock their full potential and create a life they love. A life with joy, happiness, and love. "All things are possible with God" (Matthew 29:26)
Joyful Ranch Counseling is a non-profit organization that works to rescue animals that help people heal! We use rescued horses, and dogs, to help each client have affordable mental health care. We offer a sliding scale fee. We understand that life is expensive, but your mental health should not suffer because of finances. So we offer a discounted rate for people who make less than 50k a year. We also take donations if you want to help us, help others.
Joyful Ranch Counseling is holding Intensive outpatient Summer camps starting in June! This intensive will help people work through trauma alongside our rescued horses. We will have camps for teen girls, college age women, and teen boys.
